Anne Black

Recently I have been looking at the idea of home and memory, inspired by  Pablo Neruda's Melancholy in Families.

As the idea of home is ambiguous and shifting, my themes include light and shade, inside/outside, play, nature, shelter, reflections, shadows and transparency

I began working in print at various London print workshops, and have shown prints, artist books and installations for group exhibitions.

To create transparent prints in a robust material, I work with photographic and drawn imagery, exploring fragile surfaces.
